North Banana River Fishing 1/16/11

Headed out this morning at 7am to the north Banana River in search of jumbo size redfish and black drum.  When I made it to the spot where I wanted to fish, all I saw were hundreds of tails sticking up of black drum and redfish.  I brought a good friend of mine, Steve from Titusville.  I told him about all the fish up there from previous trips and that when the conditions are right will go.  Well let me tell you the conditions were perfect.  I pulled us onto this sandbar where there was no lie at least a hundred tails sticking up and they were holding them out of the water so long there tails would pretty much dry up. I shot some really awesome video from today so when I figure how to put them on I will.  We ended up with 3 jumbo reds and a solid 20lb black drum.  I lost one drum that was pushing 30-40lbs but the hook popped and I nearly almost fell overboard.  Well here are some of the photos.  I hope you enjoy them and when i figure out how to put the video on my computer ill post them on here asap.  If your interested in catching some of these slobs I am available and you can reach me at (321) 652-5903 or you can email me at finandflycharters@gmail.com.
